Adams County Genealogical Society

The Adams County Genealogical Society, located two blocks north of the Court House on State Route 247 in West Union, Ohio, holds extensive local genealogical records, including obituaries, cemetery records, family histories, books and maps and artifacts from Adams County history, and much more. Genealogical Society library hours are Thursday and Saturday from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, but the staff are happy to open the library by appointment for visitors traveling from outside the local area. The Genealogical Society Library is supported exclusively by donations, and members perform research and record look-up services, for a requested donation.
